He has served as Professor of investment and digital strategy at 3 leading universities, including Peking University. He’s author of best-selling Moats & Marathons series and host of the Tech Strategy Podcast, where he analyzes how digital giants from Tencent to Amazon build and defend long-term competitive advantage. Previously Jeff has led direct investments for a global investment group of HRH Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, where he managed large-scale projects in tech, real estate & healthcare. Jeff holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, and an MD from the Stanford University.
Troels is co-founder and former CEO of Seaborg Technologies, a company based in Copenhagen, developing compact molten salt reactors (CMSRs): safe and sustainable nuclear power. He holds a Ph.D. in nuclear physics and a B.Sc. in mathematics. He is also co-founder of HYME - a large-scale decarbonization venture. He has previously served as a member of the Danish Nobel Sustainability Trust. Troels holds appointments on several venture boards within various business categories in the Nordic startup ecosystem. Drawing on his extensive global network, he provides strategic and fundraising advisory for numerous startups and scaleups.
